@MostlyBlindGamer@dragonscave.space I agree, but that isn't really the point of the post here. I understand why people do the things they do, but it's not the right way. Building a community of experts that actually care is, but that comes with time, and the first step is to accept that these hundred projects made by AI is not the solution.

@fireborn@dragonscave.space that’s exactly what I think, but it’s worth exploring how and why we got here, and the implications for the paths forward. To an extent, I think the people who most need to read your post are already entirely uninterested. They’re getting their bespoke software which they don’t need to understand the code or requirements to. If it doesn’t work, they don’t think they need to understand that either. In this case, and others around LLMs, I think we need to be patient and figure out where we go next once the economics shake out. There will come a time again when talking to other humans about problems will be cheaper than burning through tokens.
