@LukefromDC@kolektiva.social @jeffowski@mastodon.world that's mandatory here. 14.6% of my salary gets deducted automatically, almost 190€/month. But I don't get any treatment, I have to pay that out of my own pocket. German healthcare used to be world class, but it got enshittified beyond recognition in the last decade or so. We don't even have a proper hospital anymore.
