@LukefromDC@kolektiva.social @jeffowski@mastodon.world It's so heartbreaking to me, because I remember a different time. Back in the 90s, even the early 2000s, we still had real doctors who care about helping people. But they introduced laws under the title "evidence based medicine", that really meant doctors are only allowed to treat the most common issues with the most common methods, and aren't even allowed to deviate, or else the insurance companies can bill the doctor for any treatment not explicitly approved.
