@astronomerritt@hachyderm.io I hate the trend of rendering words with special characters or cutesy fake language. Yes, I know it's from platforms censoring certain things, but for fuck's sake, it's like reading something an eight-year-old came up with.

There are plenty of times you'll say something mean about [insert public figure] and all his defenders will find your post and reply with nasty messages or sealioning. So people wanted to express themselves without the mob finding them.
