Also, I have already solved this for myself by combining an USB-C--Micro-USB-Cable with a Micro-USB--USB-C-Adapter. Both available at Reichelt in case anyone in Germany has the same problem and your solution is not available here.
Still horrible though :/

@kuchenmampfer@chaos.social the screenshot is from aliexpress yeah you can also just plug a C-to-A cable into an A-receptacle-to-C-plug adapter, or chain the A-receptacle-to-C-plug with the forbidden cursed C-receptacle-to-A-plug one etc.
