@mistersql@mastodon.social @b0rk@social.jvns.ca Depends if you’re on LinkedIn or Mastodon 😅 Some people in software Fediverse want to draw battle lines of humanity versus AI. Meanwhile, at work, being open about your reservations about AI will risk your job IMO it’s not that the correct position lies in the middle. It’s that we don’t talk about a third thing, the factors that make us vulnerable to hype cycles.

Because I'd rather do meial jobs that can't be enshittified by AI than be part of the Enshittification!And if it means I'll be doing part-time work at a recycling center telling people where to put their stuff and cleaning up after them, then so be it.
