Th reason you're not getting it is Apple being spiteful. AI's coming to EU some 2-3 months later. By the end of the year you’ll have it. Apple knew the legislation is in place. They already built their systems to comply, they won't just suddenly scramble to "fix" it. They also can submit it right now for evaluation and it might be formally approved by September. Note, that there’s no requirement for approval, they can just deploy it and then find out if it’s in compliance. And I’m 99% confident they already know it is compliant. Also, I'm not sure, but it sounds like architecture hasn’t changed since last AI announcement. It seems to be the same private cloud compute they used when they announced OpenAI model integration 2 years ago. That whole thing is already compliant and already deployed in the EU. They just can't help it telling you they don’t like DMA. It's a common pattern. Apple either grumbles and complies or quietly deploy and then complain about fines. They have a lot of lawyers and they know in advance always.
