In ask, a problem is presented as a present imperative (e.g., define or prove) until it has been solved, at which point the verb changes to a past passive (defined, proven). It occurs to me that the data declaration already fits this pattern, and what is now needed is an interactive mode of data type construction in which the problem begins da!

@pigworker@types.pl Hoo, I needed a better name than "proto data", "predata", "data chunk" -- now I've found it.

@pigworker@types.pl shouldn't that be "date"?
