@dramypsyd@ohai.social the cave is tempting, but I think they can get cold and damp in winter, and you still have to find food and get some new hobbies compatible with living in a cave. Cave painting is one obvious possibility.

@ghouston@mamot.fr @dramypsyd@ohai.social Some caves offer very stable temperature and humidity. It was common practice in Japan to build storehouses for valuables over the entrances to such caves, and some places in Europe still use them to age cheese and various preparations of ethanol.
