WTF’s a technical recession? The site is so full of 3rd party requests I did not dare to allow it to load fully. Thankfully there’s an archived version. But I had to click on another link to get answers: While Prime Minister Mark Carney acknowledged weaknesses in the Canadian economy, he also defended the federal government’s economic agenda on Tuesday and did not use the word “recession.” (…) Carney’s comments were his first on the issue after Statistics Canada data on Friday showed a slight contraction of gross domestic product (GDP) for two straight quarters, meeting the technical definition of a recession. I see. 😐 As for The Don: these are Russian style destabilisation tactics. Fuck you with a rusty spade. There, mandatory Trump insult for today. Done. “I can’t believe I have to say this again, but Canada will never be the 51st state. Canada is not for sale.”
