They could also be <a href="/post/7484" rel="nofollow ugc" target="_blank">Russian assets</a> (js from mail[.]ru).</p>

Why are we posting this random tech bloggers whiny complaint again? I said it before: Codeberg uses Forgejo which is FOSS. If you don’t like Codeberg’s decision: stop complaining, self-host Forgejo and lose nothing. But fwiw, Fuck AI coding, not only for its unmaintainability but also for stealing of intellectual property.

OK but isn’t HTC’s reputation pretty good? Or maybe used to be… So far I always heard the T1 would be some even cheaper no-brand from China. OTOH, it could still be exactly that - a no-name rip-off of the HTC U24 Pro. The article actually supports that: the boards are the same but not identical. Like somebody used the same plans, not the same factory.

archive.today is directing a DDOS attack against my blog (and more)
Disclaimer: This is not technically a privacy matter for the reader, but I believe it is adjacent and important enough for this community. Around January 11, 2026, archive.today (aka archive.is, archive.md, etc) started using its users as proxies to conduct a distributed denial of service (DDOS) attack against Gyrovague, my personal blog. The linked article is nothing more than incompetent Fair enough, it wasn’t very good. But rn it seems like I (and also the writers of that article) was proven right to be leery of archive.xx Any info that goes to any Russian website these days can be considered going straight to the government, and therefore harmful, fueling their hybrid war. Me too, but then you can’t get over the captcha. That way, archive.today used to work without js, but not anymore.
