@Bel_tamtu@meemu.org This is why I also struggled with adhd tests and realising that I was Audhd. "Do you have a problem with..." Simple answer was always no, until I realised that it was because I had spent literally decades working out ways not to have a problem.

    @pathfinder@beige.party Yeah I'm diagnosed now, although it wasn't because I was assessed, and I still struggle with recognizing some of the traits about myself. I am also auDHD, and I figured out the ADHD first, and I learned about it partially from books that included coping/living strategies. I very much remember how often I read those pages of strategies and was already doing half or more of them on my own. Precisely for why you've said. I spend a lot of effort on making sure those problems are no longer problems.
