They have no reason now to restrain themselves to please Scottish voters!
You may well be right, but I'm hopeful voters will become more aware of how they are being lied to and ripped off, when an independent Scotland, Wales, and reunited Ireland do stuff that is genuinely for the benefit of the population. Too many folk have no idea that the UK is no democracy...

There is no guarantee at all that a local version of Farage will not arise in Scotland, Wales or Ireland. None at all. In fact, the smaller the country, the easier is for a charlatan to get to high power. The advantage is that it should easier to get rid of him once he got there; but that's only in theory, of course. North Korea is not that big, after all.
