Both is the answer. Most people will flip past a 10 minute short-form video. Just like the TikTok/Youtube sitution, edit some things to be vertical and short, and post those to Loops. Include a link in your profile to your Peertube, and let the short videos direct people who like your stuff to your longer horizontal videos.

How well would such links work? I guess there isn’t a federatable way to stay on the current instance. It’s already a pain on youtube on TV, because there are no clickable links. So far I rarely like and comment on peertube because I usually can’t. Newpipe doesn’t allow to log in with mastodon or similar for likes and comments, but it’s one of the few apps compatible with remotes (not 100%) Does loops also discourage creating accounts there if you don’t wanna make videos?
