Should you install Windows on your Steam Deck? Realistically, probably not Once you have Windows installed as well, you should consider installing Handheld Companion. The features that you lose like TDP and fan controls can be returned through that application so that you can still manage your speeds manually on your Steam Deck even in Windows. Be careful when using this software while running games that use an anti-cheat. That article is great
