the amount that this happens diminishes over time, but because my deadname is an indelible part of my academic record, it's probably not gonna ever stop. it's not a major problem, but it does suck.

i declined the review request simply stating that i don't answer to that name. and, well, because i get a ton of these. i've consistently gotten at least three times more review requests than any of my peers, like since i was in grad school. none of us can figure out why.
