@geospacedman@mastodon.social seriously? I used to use creative commons photos for slides, now sometimes I use AI images. Is it better to use someone else's photograph? What if I use a Canva template? What if I use a PowerPoint template? What if I use a Google Slide templates? Would you self-righteously walk out of a talk then?

@alicetiara@mastodon.social Much better to use someone else's photograph, yes. Or a nice template that you are licensed to use. Or even a cheesy 90s clipart library. All fine artistically valid, legal, and low-carbon choices
