@RMKrug@hachyderm.io Crappy AI imagery (aka "AI imagery") is triggering. I saw one last week that had "GEODRAPHY" on it. Plus all these images are derived from stolen work. Go to unsplash.com or similar if you want free stuff and credit or pay the artist if you want. One speaker even gave us the knowing "Oh yeah another crappy AI image for you haha" schtick.

@RMKrug@hachyderm.io @geospacedman@mastodon.social AI imagery is a signifier that a similar level of low effort went into the rest. "High effort presentation, low effort imagery" is a category that exists in theory but very rarely in practice.
