Spent the day cutting the poplar plywood in quarters, cursing at not being able to cut straight despite clamping a guide to it and wishing I had a table saw. Took a break to relax and watch a painting video and saw a painter using some kind of bamboo board and realised I could just have used APTITLIG cutting board from IKEA all along.
