We may think that A.I. is imperfect now, but Eliza might have something to say about that.
(Yes, I was using punctuation because that's how humans write, and I was feeling mean. I doubt this conversation would have been much smarter without the punctuation as Eliza is *very* primitive.)

I had another try with less punctuation and a simpler series of questions and statements. Poor Eliza still didn't quite convince me somehow. Even in the early 1980s, Eliza and friends were not quite making my pulse quicken or send my excitement level soaring gloriously into the stratosphere. In 2026 it is still a historically interesting diversion, but AI has come a long way.
