It's not even about the games, I see everything so clearly and the main dude in my life can't converse about anything. If I press him beyond his programming, he gets defensive and shuts down because he's unable to process new information that challenges his beliefs.

Yeah I gave up trying to be friends with normies a long time ago. I found all I did was smile and nod, and I didn't really care about the things they seemed to think were important at all.
