@ignaloidas@not.acu.lt so the T gauge is the same as the S gauge but static rather than structural? if that's the case i can guesstimate a kinematic gauge by comparing other static/kinematic gauges and seeing what the usual margin is i did think it was enormous : )

    @bovine3dom@masto.ai basically yes, though as I said, T is the "guaranteed to not cause problems ever" gauge, in practice there's a bunch of out of gauge wagons that regularly run, and I think the new Stadler FLIRTs we got are also technically out of gauge. In Lithuania, up to level 2 of bottom out-of-gauge-ness, level 3 of side, and level 2 of top is allowed in regular service (as in, without extra checks), and only above that does it need separate planning. Here's the schemas for the out of gaugeness standards for the bottom section, and side and top second and third levels if you wish to add what's realistically possible instead of the statuatory minimum 😉 (and also the base T gauge if you don't) (wrt LV and EE - they probably also have some similar levels that are always accepted but I don't know them, though you could probably find that in their public access docs)
