Except like the Windows "settings" app and about a quarter of systemd bullshit, systemctl reboot was clearly designed in the biggest hurry possible by somebody with all the system administration and quality assurance chops of a drunken crocodile.
root@[elided]-prod0:/etc/netdata# systemctl reboot -f --when=+220min
Read from remote host [elided]-prod0.wg: Connection reset by peer
Connection to [elided]-prod0.wg closed.
client_loop: send disconnect: Broken pipe
I repeat: FUCK systemd.

@jimsalter@fosstodon.org Yeap, no fan of it either, but I don't think we will get rid of it anytime soon, if we ever do (or use BSD, as your canadian friend on 2.5 Admins would love).

@jimsalter@fosstodon.org and if you have the audacity to report a bug with the Most Holy program (/s) you will be met with a litany of condescension and derision for daring to *checks notes* use the tool as documented. (ref: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1112535 - bluca is also an upstream systemd developer)

@jimsalter@fosstodon.org woah, so what happened there? Does the -f override the --when flag?
