@ysegrim@furry.engineer In civilised countries, employers are explicitly barred from making it "confidential company information" for an employee to talk about their own salary.

@riley@toot.cat @ysegrim@furry.engineer @grendel84@tiny.tilde.website If employees are really forbidden to talk about their salaries (with anyone, including their colleagues), that would be utterly disadvantageous to them, and it should be made illegal! -edit- I read that exactly the wrong way 😄
