@riley@toot.cat @ysegrim@furry.engineer @grendel84@tiny.tilde.website If employees are really forbidden to talk about their salaries (with anyone, including their colleagues), that would be utterly disadvantageous to them, and it should be made illegal!

@janpieter@mastodon.social @riley@toot.cat @ysegrim@furry.engineer @grendel84@tiny.tilde.website I think there's some EUconfusion here but generally speaking the EU rules here allow you to talk to your colleagues about your salary but not to random strangers or competitors, clauses like that would still be valid. (National laws may be stronger)
