@kirk@social.coop The way that I am looking at it, there are two different sides to the process flow of hardware. The design-side is one aspect. The fabrication is another. Sensorica were good at working on the design-side. They were able to get funding to design the hardware. They did NOT do any of the manufacturing, apart from making prototypes for testing/communications/display. I've been looking at the fabrication-side as a way of paying for the prototyping & manufacturing tools. And once the tools are paid for, then every extra unit made is profit. :D I'm trying to do the same in terms of worker co-op for the fabrication. :D DM me with your schedule and we can gossip. :D
