We are talking about the financial engineering." I saw the same thing in 1999/2000/2001, where start-up's that seemed vaguely sensible started playing the stock market, instead of running the core business, as playing the stock market had become their core business... 🤦 #AI #AIBubbl...

Listening to more podcasts about the cognitive effects of LLM-use on their users, reminds me of what happens when someone is promoted into a supervisory role, so their direct skills start to atrophy.
