Even used finger, then went down a little rabbit hole and discovered there is also the 'pinky' command :) The other day I said something that rings even truer now I have read your excellent essay, and that is the current top layer of the internet was not created for those who remember the internet in all its original messy confusion - it is really for those that know no different
