One downside is we're watching Star Wars in a world where we've already seen Spaceballs and it's very hard to get the latter out of your mind 😉

Sad to think that, when the TARDIS dropped him off course in a galaxy far-far-away, Dr. Who had to take on some very unusual companions and do things that were VERY out of character. Later, they would seldom ever make reference to this incarnation.
