Farmland has heavy chemical loads. Fertilizer, herbicide, pesticide, harvesting chemicals. Plus cropland has pretty bad water retention. Which means those chemicals run off and into streams and rivers ect.

That's what Alex Jones was talking about when he said "I'm sick of them putting chemicals in the water turning the frickin frogs gay!" Atrazine is a chemical fertilizer that's been running off into the water supply that has been observed making frogs change gender (amphibians can do that).
