@Peternimmo I remember saying when mail delivery was opened to competition from private firms, they could “cherry pick” and choose not to deliver to “remote locations, leaving Royal Mail as the only business who “had” to deliver. This should not have been allowed, but l sort of follows the US “only in the contiguous 48 states” that leave Alaska and Hawaii similarly disadvantaged.
