@t1rx@sakurajima.social wow, checked it out and it looks pretty neat. Tho, any reason not to use ansible directly? I guess it's bcos this is more specialised

@irfan@sakurajima.social ansible is really heavy just for templating dotfiles and installing apps. chezmoi has secrets management built in and can hook into package managers like brew. it also supports multiple machine configs really easily. everything chezmoi does you can do with ansible but it'll require alot of manual setup for what chezmoi ships with out of the box
