Perhaps eyeball for foreign bodies, gear alignment or lack of lube while you're in there. Rule it out if nothing else.

@MrNick2@mastodon.social Quick update: It's both an over extrusion problem and a z-offset problem. I can correct the rough layers problem with reduced flow ratio, but then my first layer is stringy. I don't know if I can reduce my z-offset to compensate for it, but I'm going to give it a whirl. So I'm on my way to getting it solved!
