@mcdanlj@social.makerforums.info @josefprusa@mas.to sadly most people simply don't care and just buy whatever cheapest printer they can get hold off and the investment into r&d isn't given consideration in decision making. I'm very happy with my now ancient and repeatedly improved Eustathios platform and missing the old G+ days where communities were much tighter 🥺

  • @oseiler@mastodon.nz Yeah it was sad when Google stopped caring about G+, long before they put it out to pasture. I even cleaned out a lot of the spam that Google gave up on enabling community owners to manage when they gave up on G+ and I imported all those posts over to Maker Forums... As I think you know from joining us on Maker Forums, but bears repeating if other folks who were there see this, I did get things set up so that even today, if someone who had G+ content that was imported logs in using google login, they own their old posts. ☺

@oseiler@mastodon.nz @mcdanlj@social.makerforums.info @josefprusa@mas.to Yep… right the first reply on Twitter: "To be honest, Josef, I really wanted to buy a Prusa printer. But the value proposition isn't there compared to Bambulab. Perhaps you could focus on that." It's not even true, the value proposition of a Core One+ beats Bambu every day once you consider long-term usage (which such a machine *should* be made for. Hell, every machine / device should be). Some people seemingly are really unlucky when trying to think.
