@andre@mastoart.social 2/2 It reminded me of an old Italian novel about a man who wakes up and realizes he’s completely alone in a town. That idea has always fascinated me. Not the catastrophe itself, but the emptiness left behind by people. The silence that remains after our everyday existence disappears. And that’s exactly the silence I feel here the most. The frame feels raw, but at the same time strangely melancholic and deeply human. A very powerful photograph.

@tombzz@mastodon.social As a child, I imagined that everyone had suddenly disappeared. For no reason and without a trace. In my fantasies, I wandered through empty streets, and buildings. I was the only one left. It seemed to me that this was true freedom—no need to go to school, eat on a schedule, etc Many years have passed, and these thoughts unexpectedly returned as the inspiration for this series. I tried to show the presence of people without people. You really captured that mood perfectly. Thank you!
