I disappeared from Mastodon for a little while. I ended up in hospital because of a chronic subdural hematoma. It all started with a sudden loss of strength on the left side of my body. I couldn't even get dressed on my own. Thankfully, the surgery went well, I'm back home now, and I'm doing well. @grechaw@sfba.social Thank you! Yes, I’m familiar with Michael Wolf’s work – it’s hard not to think of him when shooting in this location. However, given how many photos of these buildings exist, I wanted to take a different approach and move away from his signature, almost geometric clinical precision. I was aiming for something more raw that captures the overwhelming texture of the architecture rather than just its patterns.
