@screwlisp@gamerplus.org @kentpitman@climatejustice.social One of the speakers mentioned that all the resources should be channelled to fight the climate change (evena pausing the usual development). This makes me wonder what kind of resources are *already* dedicated to fight climate issues. I know that in EU there is a lot of focus on recycling, sustainability, and green energy. China is going green energy big time. Any other? What makes the biggest impact in practice? (IMHO, 100% dedication is naive; it won't happen).

    @yantar92@fosstodon.org Something I speculated but did not say was that some of the odd rush of data centres in odd places, like say Carney's Canada putting a huge datacentre in Alberta looks a lot like putting huge energy consumers physically close to fossil fuels as a natural (gas) customer while fossil fuels recede to e.g. modern solar. So devolution of power consumption to locally generated solar powered local devices seems like it will start beating the former eventually. @kentpitman@climatejustice.social
