Would need to test on a site that doesn't have a secure redirect.

@james@theblower.au @feditips@mstdn.social But it's an HTTP url that's clickable on Mastodon; if you 'copy link' or something, it's clearly HTTP, not HTTPS. I think most _servers_ these days will 301 Redirect a HTTP request to HTTPS. Though sfba.social doesn't, and just fails to 'curl' or chromium. Firefox and chrome seem to try HTTPS even if HTTP port 80 fails.
