I decided to give Claude Code in VS Code a try. I've used copilot before, and quite often I ask chatgpt or gemini to generate smaller snippets for me. Sure it feels more competent on complex tasks. But boy is it slow for small edits. I have many mixed feelings about coding with AI support. But most of all, it feels like an immature tech domain. Like web in the 90s or something. It will be interesting to see where it all is going.
