About a month ago I was doing some wiring at my dad's house. Built in 1921, it has been "updated" in the 40s, 50s, 70s and Naughties. Where "updated" means that they put in new wire in the new construction but then tied it into the old wiring. 👀 While I was working in the basement, stapling up new Romex, I stepped down off the ladder, turned, and tripped over the bottom step of the stairs. Fell onto the stair and jacked up my shin. It swoled up like @matty at a buffet and I got both cellulitis and stasis dermatitius from insufficient blood flow. Today was my first day in a month I was able to go outside and work on the range and yard. Getting old is not for sissies. I recommend not doing it.
