I haven't seen The Grandmaster yet. Just added to the list - cheers!
I really enjoyed the Ip Man films, there is a bit of a drop-off as the series progresses, but they're all good, IMHO. (I just checked and I ranked 1 and 2 as four stars, and 3 and 4 as three and a half stars.)

@imalcolm@mastodon.social I loved The Grandmaster, but I’m a fan of anything by Wong Kar Wei. Lush as always.
