@imalcolm@mastodon.social They were screening them once a month, we got to see Hard Boiled but I ended up missing A Better Tomorrow. It’s getting me back into an action and martial arts kick now.

@driph@mastodon.social Excellent! I need to keep an eye out at a couple of indie theatres for revival/classics screenings. Coincidentally think I've inadvertently slid into a martial arts/gun-fu/sword revival thing: just checked my Letterboxd and since mid-late last year, after nothing like that for years, I've seen The Killer, A Better Tomorrow, all four Ip Mans, Yakuza Apocalypse, Big Trouble in Little China, Shaolin Soccer, Tai-Chi Master, Kung Fu Hustle, Lady Snowblood and Zatoichi. It's a mood!
