@kev@social.catastrophic.horse it was so weird, they were convinced that up until 300-400 years ago people just did not dye things. When I gave them some examples they changed it to “only rich people could afford dyes then” and when I responded with a list of cheap natural things people used as dyes they doubled down lmao
