@evilworld@mastodon.uno @signalapp@mastodon.world what phone do you have? Some vendors disable reliable notifications for almost all apps. I suspect it's meant to nudge users towards *approved" apps like WeChat.

@benedikt_lauenburg@norden.social @evilworld@mastodon.uno @signalapp@mastodon.world I use an iPhone currently, and many of my peers do as well, and this problem persists even on those devices. Likewise, WhatsApp and Messenger don’t experience this problem.
