@benedikt_lauenburg@norden.social @evilworld@mastodon.uno @signalapp@mastodon.world I use an iPhone currently, and many of my peers do as well, and this problem persists even on those devices. Likewise, WhatsApp and Messenger don’t experience this problem.

@moshimotsu@floss.social @benedikt_lauenburg@norden.social @signalapp@mastodon.world i don't understand why. I've installed on my mother phone (regular android) and notifications didn't initially work, but after a little bit of tweaking on the energy saving stuff now they do work
