@chani@neurodifferent.me I'm sorry. I've not seen anything telling me how to see it. I follow the caption bot or whatever is called and it's prompted me, but I can't ever see it from other ppl. I'm using the Android app

@chickenhat@mstdn.social oh, I've never used the app, sorry. But if you open a toot in android chrome or Firefox, you can long-press images to see a contextmenu with the start of the alt text at the top. Tap that text and it expands to show all the alt text. Except in Firefox you first have to tap the photo so it's in the popup thingy, not the smaller version in the toot.
