It is advisable to require approval before accepting new followers. This allows time to receive credit reports, etc.

Remember to support the admins of the server you are on. You should help financially by throwing them some money now and then. Paper currency is preferred because it is less likely to leave bruises. 10/11

@jetton@mastodon.online Can wholeheartedly second the "advanced interface" tip. If you've ever seen or used "Tweet Deck" as a client for the bird site, you should be right at home. In that interface, you've got your typical notifications and "home" timeline, but can also add lists of people you've followed (and put into boxes ["help, help, I'm trapped in this box"]) and hashtags as columns. It's dang brilliant.
