Thinking about what I’m grateful for got me to thinking about things that I give myself permission to be unobjective about. Things I will love to my dying day, no matter what evidence might surface that my affection is misplaced. The list so far: * San Francisco. I will always love you. * Frosted Chocolate Fudge Poptarts. I know, I know. Sugar-coated cardboard... * The way one of my loved ones mashes up utterly unrelated things and manufactures causes and effects that simply don’t exist. I’ve never known anyone else who does this with such frequency or passion... What do you adore beyond all reason, just because you do?
