This movie felt, I dunno, 22 minutes too long? The final confrontation was good. Multiple points leading up to it were fine. But they seem to have swerved from "total social collapse" to "rough inner-city school that has a gang problem but also clean-cut good kids". Like, you *could* make a movie where gangs have literally taken over because adult civilization has structurally failed them and the school is just the epicenter, or it's the neutral ground between the warring gangs, or something like that. Or you *could* have a movie about robot teachers running amok at Inner City High. The opening narration sets up the first movie, but a lot of the ... "plot" belongs in the second. #Monsterdon
