@cavyherd@wandering.shop Yes, you should unplug it when it's done charging.
The charger and the BMS (battery management system; a chip in the battery case that balances the cells) should keep it from over charging, but better safe than sorry.
The LED controller has a tiny standby draw so will drain the battery if left plugged in but unused for a while, but we're talking weeks, maybe months.

@yantor3d@mas.to Hm. I wonder if a stand-alone egg-timer power switch is a thing? Either for the charging cable or the 120v extension cord.... 🤔 I am 100% certain I'm not the only person who has a need for such a thing, but Ghu knows how niche this is. (Pretty niche, I'm guessing....)
